Welcome

Welcome to my site. 

This is the first time doing this so bear with me. 

First, I am a family person, married with grown children, and 2 dogs that have me wrapped around their paws. 

It is with gratitude that I have been called to art, music, and Reiki, in that order.

I grew up on a farm in California and started creating art out of pretty much nothing, really. Folding hankies into frogs, sculpting figures out of mud,

creating flip books with crayons and newspaper pages. Making fishing poles with the bamboo that grew in the yard so dad and me could go fishing on Berkeley Pier, when the fish were edible. Didn’t catch much, just had fun with dad,

Made me a guitar from a 2x4 and fishing line when I decided I wanted to play like George Harrison. Mom bought my first guitar at White Front, which started my love affair with the instrument. I played in the church festival, and at the Filipino Catmon Fiesta. I played in a band, that only played in Joe's garage. To this day I play nearly every day.

Reiki came into my life after the death of my mom.  I volunteered at Kaiser as a Bereavement Specialist and my supervisor turned me on to it. We were facilitating a Healing Hearts Workshop and she mentioned that I would be good at Reiki. I got certified to do Reiki with Lisa Powers and HCH. I wanted to do Reiki and Chakra balancing on myself first to know the profound affect it has. That changed my life.

My hope is that I am able to show you how the energy in you body helps deal with heavy issues and pain in a compassionate, rejuvenating way.
